Yes, me and my adult friend went to the zoo, sans any kids...because we dont have any... and i LOVED IT!!! and yes these adorable penguins got out of the water one by one...

while we were eating this pushy turkey came up and started begging, and wouldnt leave us alone till i fed him!!

all in all it was a wonderful day and i love the zoo...and secretly wish i was a zoo keeper...

ha ha dont mind this sick picture of us in our "gear" we went on the zipline in puerto vallarta and it was a BLAST!!

We went to this way good restaurant called pipi's they had way good food and a live mariachi(spelling?) band, notice how huge the burritos are!

this is one of the many dead gross fish we saw riding four wheelers on the beach in mazatlan.

All in all it was perfect and so fun to not have to worry about work or anything for a whole week....just me and bo i loved it! but its always nice to come home, i feel like i always need a vacation after my vacation though!

Holy cow!! alot has happened in the last month! we just got back a week ago from a cruise in mexico and it was so much fun! i need to get my memory card back from my mom then i will put those pictures up, but for now here are pictures of my husbands big ol' bear he killed on thursday! he has been putting in for 8 years now and finally drew a tag and has been baiting him for about a month. He was pretty dang excited. he weighs about 330lbs. and has a 19 inch skull. so he is quite on the larger end for a black bear.

this is the wheelbarrow they used to haul him out and it was hilarious to watch!!! they were tipping all over and could barely do it even with 4 big guys.

We lost a wonderful soul on saturday. My little 16 year old sisters boyfriend died of a four wheeler crash in st. george. he was such a sweet kid, and treated my sister so good, he was right in his prime he was on the basketball team at bingham and loved to hunt, he was always asking bo about hunting. It just breaks my heart for my sister and especially for his family. Conference was so perfect today, because most of the talks were on the death and family. It's not a coincidence that they were on that. God knows when he needs to have his helpers deliver words of comfort and there is always something in the conference talks that everybody can take away from them. I am so grateful for the knowledge of the afterlife and what we little we know of death, it isnt the end, we will all be together again someday. I just cant even imagine losing someone so close. I realize that i take people for granted and I dont tell people i love them enough, we never know when that someone will be gone within seconds. Please pray for his family and loved ones.

DISNEY ON ICE!!!

so on friday i got to go to DISNEY ON ICE with this wonderfuly cute little girl and her mom.(sorry cam i didnt get any pictures of you) but anyways...I LOVED IT!!! i love anything disney or tinkerbell and i thought it was so good!!

we got to see lots of princesses and dresses, and mary even dressed up like a princess and looked so dang cute! she was in heaven! :)

The tinkerbell act was definately my favorite!

thanks cami and mary for going with my i had a blast!! i really cant wait to have my own little girls to take, they will like disney and princesses whether they want to or not ;)

well there has been quite a bit happen lately. first off....this is how tator spends his cold winter days...by the fire, all stretched out and he loves it!!:)

this is my new car!!! i got one in august of last year but it turned out to be a lemon so i just traded it in for this little hyundai tucson and i love love it!! its bigger and alot roomier!

ha ha and this was tators first bath! out tub has been broken so we would just shower him but not its working so we tried...and not so much did he like it, he was a little nervous.

and this is what my wonderful husband got me for valentines day and i love it! it is so pretty:) i just got him a memory foam pillow cause he told me to just get him something practical and that he didnt want anything. so i did....

we then went to tepanyaki for dinner and went and saw 'valentines's day' . it was a pretty cute movie, i didnt have high expectations so it was good. but i hope everyone had a wonderful valentines, we sure did and i love my husband more every additional year i get to spend with him. he way spoils me and i couldnt have asked for anyone better! i love him!!:)

i am so proud of us. last weekend we decided to redo our gross bathroom and we did all in about two days! (i know the pictures are the wrong way i was too lazy to turn them) but this is our mirror, it was an ugly blah brown so we painted it white and i sanded the edges and it turned out so good!!

this is our new vanity and faucet!i love it!!! it changed the whole look our the bathroom and but ripped the old one out and put this one in all by himself i was so proud!!

and these are my favorite, i got them from target the little flower shower holders and i love them!!

this is the shower curtain and the rug i got. and we painted the walls a really light brown and i just love the whole look of it!! im am so proud of us...(not to toot my own horn.) ;)

oh ha ha and this was so funny! so tator came in right after i had left this room after putting a layer of paint on my bedroom wall and i couldnt figure out what he had on his nose, then i notice he had paint all over his mouth and nose! so i go into the bedroom and there were little nose marks all over the freshly painted wall!! we had a pretty good laugh!

oh and a couple weekends ago me and bo went to hardware ranch up in logan. it was way cool! there were elk everywhere!!! the people put food out so in the winter the elk move down and eat. there were at least a couple thousand it was pretty neat they were right next to our carriage. i highly recommend going its worth the 5 dollars.

well it has been a while but our christmas was so good!! i got spoiled by bo and we got spoiled by our parents! i got everything i asked for fromk santa;) oh and this little spoiled elf dog got lots of goodies too.

this is how i foung them the day after christmas so tired from the holidays... so cute!!!

we went bowling with my family on new years day and it was so much fun. i havent been bowling for ever!!

OH MY GOSH and i just finished the BEST books! anyone who hasnt read them MUST do so. this is the second one but bo was in the middle of reading the first one and wouldnt let me take a picture but even he loves them. the third doesnt come out til august and supposedly they are making a movie on them but they were way way good and come highly recommended!!!

ha ha ha so i bought tator a little santa outfit but i guess i underestimated his size, it was too small and he just stodd there stiff. me and bo about peed our pants!!!

this is our little charlie brown christmas tree, it looks alot fuller with the lights on but any bigger and you wouldnt be able to walk into the family room....honestly

this was so cute they were taking a nap together but right when i clicked the picture tator woke up.

oh my gosh, has anyone been to village baker in west jordan on 90th and redwood?? it is the BEST food out there. literally....it is so fresh and big, and pretty cheap but we are having the bbq chicken pizza for dinner and this salad and im so excited!!! there is only one but i sure wish they would build another one!!

oh and for my work party my dad took all of us to the roof for dinner and then the david archuleta christmas concert. i am not a huge fan of him but it was really really good actually. but my dad actually grew up with davids dad and so i have met david quite a few times cause my dad is his dentist. but i was floored by how many screaming girls/women there were!! i have never seen anything like it, i didnt know he was that liked?!
but i stole this picture from my friends blog cause i didnt really think to plug my camera battery, didnt really care i guess ;)

well nothing too exciting has happened around here, i am just super excited about christmas this year for some reason, it just needs to snow so it feels more like the holiday season!!!...but we are trying to sell our cute little house:( it looks like a little doll house i love it, but when i get into the nursing program i wont be able to work, so we just need to find somewhere cheaper. hopefully it will sell though!! ha ha bo was gone for halloween and i didnt want to dress up all alone so i just dressed tator up, since he is a weiner dog i figured it would be fitting for him to be a hot dog for halloween! he looked so cute and he actually didnt really mind it..... :)

oh and has anyone heard of the snuggies that are blankets, with arm sleeve things??! well they have them for dogs, so i bought tator one cause i thought it would be funny, and i didnt think to look at the color so i took it out and it was pink!! bo hates it, he probably thinks i got the pink on purpose but tator actually likes it, it keeps him pretty warm, but wow is he one spoiled dog!!

Bo is out of town hunting all week in South Dakota til sunday, i hate it when he leaves, me and tates get so bored and start to argue. I cant wait to see him, time slowly rolls by when you want it to go fast. But if anyone wants to play, i am free!!!:)

About a week ago i did a little bit of canning. I made spaghetti sauce, and canned beans with my mother in law, and she did tomato soup and gave us a couple then i came home and did strawberry and raspberry jam, im pretty proud of myself, it is actuall really good! it is so easy too!!

ha ha and bo put tates in the washer, he was so scared. :)

and today was my brothers farewell, he leaves in 2 weeks to estonia! he gave a great talk, he will be an awesome missionary!! but he had so polynesian friends and their families made all of my family a leigh and we put ours on tates when we came home , and of course, he tried to eat it. (of course i forgot to turn the picture)

this is the fam. :) we are going to miss him, but it will be over before we know it. im so excited for him though!!

Look at this ONE harvest we did!! we have done probably 6 more before this and we still have tons of spaghetti squash that arent ready yet but wow...how are we going to eat all of this but mmmm,....,it sure is good.

HA HA HA HA me and my friend saw this strange vehicle park and then 3 men with skirts got out of the car and some english guy asked what the bears were all for and they said it was all of their "road kill" HA HA HA make the picture bigger and see the one on the tire! so funny!!

Hunting Season Has Begun!

A couple weeks ago me and bo and tates had a little fire in our backyard and roasted marshmallows. it was so fun! this is the fire pit my very talented husband built us. :) if you every want to come over and roast with us let me know, you are more than welcome!

Second, poor little tator has his little friends cut off. he had this bandage on where the i.v. was, but..he didnt even skip a beat, i dont think he realizes they are gone yet!

And last but not least this is me and tator on our way home from hunting down south(the pictures are backwards i messed up). but bo is staying rest of the week. we were there all weekend and it was really fun! but i miss bo already :(

This is just a big creature that landed on bo. it was so gross!!

Tator absolutely loved being outside! if you cant tell, he has tree sap stuck in his paw, he had it everywhere!!! he was so dirty it was gross but he didnt care!

oh and we were driving around on the four wheeler and saw this beauty! it was a huge bobcat not even 50 yards from us. it was pretty cool!

we went to a cemetery by where we were camping, and there were the raised graves everywhere! most of them were unmarked and the marked ones were from like the 1800's and most were little kids. it was pretty sad.

and this was the HUGE group of elk we saw! its not a very good picture but there were lots of them and two big male elk it was way neat we were so close you could hear them bugling to each other! but i didnt kill one but thats ok i still had fun! now i just have to wait for bo to get home....its going to be a long week!

What We Have Been Up To!!

WOW alot has gone on since i posted last so beware: THIS IS A LONG ONE!! i went a couple weeks ago with my sister in law cami and her two kids to thanksgiving point to go see the animals and mary loved them!! she got to feed them and ride the ponies too!

Will wasn't too sure about the heat towards the end of it. :)

Ha Ha and this thing was so ugly i had to take a picture of it it was some kind of goat and it had huge horns and a way long beard and way long eyebrows that hung down ha it was ugly, poor thing!

They got to ride the ponies, even will rode and he liked it for a little while! :)

They had a horse drawn carriage that mary wanted to ride so we went on it and it just takes you around a little bit.

We then went to Bear Lake last weekend with bo's family and it was so much fun! his parents rented a cabin for us and his sister and her family brought the boat.

We were there all day on friday and got fried! me and bo wakeboarded but of course i forgot my camera both times so your just gonna have to trust me ;) we did pretty good i might add too!

Jodi thought of the cutest idea to tye dye t-shirts for everyone and they turned out so cute! this is the whol clan right before we left:(. it was such a fun nice weekend. we hope we can do it next year ;) thanks camille and Jim!!

And last but certainly not least......my little brother got his mission call!!! woo hoo! he is going to the baltic mission. its in estonia but it include latvia and lithuania its right next to russia he will be speaking estonian. i am so excited for him he leaves october 7th.

Our fourth of july weekend

This wekeknd we went down south camping for the fourth of july weekend and it was a much needed break it was so nice. the weather was perfect and it was fun just having me and bo and tator together for a break!

He is so handsome! :)

Ha Ha we bought tator this gay little backet to hook onto my bike and he didnt like it so much. ha ha it was way funny though he was way nervous!

we of course had to go fishing on our way home!:)

oh and this pushy antelope was just camped right off the road (hence the car right behind it). i got pretty close and i thought he was hurt at first but no he was just takin a break cause he eventually got up and pranced away.

eww he is so cute! he was such a trooper the whole weekend and loved being outside runnin around and eating rabbit poop and cow pies! he was worn out and pretty much slept the whole way home. it was a fun and much needed weekend away!

This is our new little addition to our family and he is so dang cute! his name is Tator, he is a little dachshund (a.k.a. wiener dog):)

He way always wants to get up on the couch and when i go into a room he way starts to whine cause he doesnt know where i went.

He always rolls onto his back so we can rub his little tummy. he is so cute!!:)

Bo acts all tough but he secretly really loves him and way likes to cuddle with him ;)

Oh and side note....i got FRIED on sunday. it was perfect weather but i didnt realize i was getting so burned and everyone in my family has been telling me i look like a Klingon from star trek and way laughing at me cause apparantely its way funny?? because from getting so burned im swollen?? i didnt know that happened but it did and it is sick! its so embarrassing!!

So this last weekend for memorial we went down to lake powell with bo's buddy from work and his family, and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! we HAD to stop at the gas station in the rock down in hanksville and it was pretty cool! it is literally built right into the rock!!

We got down there and it rained on friday and saturday, but it wasnt really cold just wet so we just hung out in our tents but the guy wanted to go fishing.....and fishing they went! all weekend long they were catching these things!!!

These are the people we went with. it was brandon and lindseys boat we went on the ones on the right with the cutest little boys ever!!

This is bridger on the right and britton on the ledt, he thought he was so cool cause he "caught" this fish! :) bo was so dang cute with them they were so disappointed when we had to leave. he is going to be such a good dad!

St. George and Fishin!!

So this last weekend me and my friend Melinda drove down to St. George just to get away for awhile. we left on friday and got back on sunday. it was so much fun! we of course had to go to the pizza factory while we where down there.

And then we shopped, laid out, shopped, and shopped some more.

Um and has anyone been to H&M? its amazing! its huge and has tons of clothes, well pretty much everything!!

On thursdady before i left me and Bo went over to Utah Lake and went fishing! it was fun once i caught one and then i realized my waiders had a hole in them and i was starting to fill up with water so i went back to the truck a little early. but it was a beatiful night and really fun spending time with the hubby!:)

so i got on the website a couple days ago to see whats up with our cruise to mexico....that stupid swin flu is ruining everything! they changed out ports from cabo, mazatlan, and puerto vallarta mexico to victoria canada and some other places. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? i dont pay all that money to go somewhere other than the beach on a cruise. i was so bummed i just sulked all night when i had to cancel it. but instead of giving us our money back they gave us a credit for the amount until december of 2010. so if anyone would like to join us sometime on a cruise in the next year let me know.....cause it is now poswtponed! :) bummer, but o well. life goes on right?

ONE YEAR BABY!!!

yesterday was our one year anniversary! we made it and we have grown so much closer in this last year. it has been the best year. i have learned so much about bo and even about myself! i love him more now than i did on our wedding day and i know it will just get even stronger in the many many more years we have together! we started the day off by going to this movie. it was actually preety cute, ....cheesy but cute. :) then we had the opportunity to go eat at The Roof restaurant downtown in the joseph smith memorial building and boy was is good good eats!! mmmmm. i sure do love this guy.

we had the most beautiful view! this temple is so gorgeous just in the middle of a big old city! i am so amazed and how intricite and deatailed they were back then building this thing and how the heck did they get that angel moroni up there? they sure didnt have cranes??!!!

all in all it was a wonderful night and i am married to the greatest man in the world and i know everyone says that but i truly am blessed that he picked me to spend eternity with!

Well we went down turkey hunting this week! i know i know...i dont hunt but since i married bo i do now :). and it was fun! we drove down on wednesday after work and his dad was already there. this picture is by the escalante staircase. it was way pretty. it was just a big hole in the ground.

this is us and the turkeys we killed. we all had a tag. his dad had already killed his the day before.

this is just us with our turkeys:) they surea are goofy looking ugly things!

on our way home we stopped in a small town called antimony and went to the merc and ate the antimony burgers. and of course... i forgot to take pictures of these burgers but they are pretty big!and im proud to say i downed one! but all in all it was a fun trip the weather was pretty nice and it was fun to just get away!!

we went with my family tonight to wheelers farm for a luau for my brothers highland rugby team! and then we went over and saw the animals. ha ha and this turkey was so dang ugly and bo would gobble and he would gobble and gobble and gobble back! it was hilarious!!

and these little goats were so dang cute! everywhere their mom went they would follow and they were so tiny they could barely walk!
